The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Director to join the team at Blueprint. You will direct and deliver a mix of retail campaigns and experiential events for clients in technology, automotive and retail.

We combine smart, independent thinking with straightforward practicality. We exercise a level of care and attention to detail that our clients tell us is more than a match for their own brand personnel.

We are looking for a creative and proactive Account Director who will get stuck in with ideation, campaign strategy and making the impossible, possible.

The role will involve:

Opportunity Identification & Pitching:

  • Proactively spotting and creating new opportunities with existing clients.

  • Collaborating with our creative teams and various departments to pitch innovative solutions. 

Experience Design:

  • Crafting experiences tailored to client needs, ensuring alignment with their underlying business objectives.

Project Management:

  • Establishing and overseeing milestone plans to ensure timely delivery on large and complex projects.

  • Assigning tasks, coordinating with multiple suppliers, freelancers, and internal teams to keep projects on track.

Briefing:

  • Drafting clear, concise, and accurate briefs to guide the team's efforts whilst meeting the client’s objectives.

Progress Tracking & Budgeting:

  • Maintaining weekly progress trackers to monitor project advancements.

  • Managing intricate budgets across multiple currencies, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.

  • Oversee client revenue targets and forecast/resource accurately

Client Relationship Direction:

  • Cultivating impeccable client relationships through regular meetings, clear communication, and consistent follow-ups.

  • Guide and lead our clients to gain long term commitments and project pipelines

Client Satisfaction Oversight:

  • Identifying potential client satisfaction issues and proactively address them.

  • Implementing strategies to mitigate any concerns and enhance client trust

Experience:

  • Demonstrable agency experience, preferably within an agency world dealing with world class clients as either a Senior Account Manager looking to move up, or an existing Account Director looking for a new challenge
  • Experience in either retail or automotive sector, experiential or production.
  • Ability to run complex budgets exceeding £250k
  • Ability to guide and manage teams and direct reports
  • Able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
  • A positive, confident, and determined approach
  • A high degree of self-motivation and ambition
  • Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders of all levels
  • Proficiency in the suite of Microsoft Office products would be desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
