Stephen returns to the agency at a pivotal moment, rejoining the leadership team alongside newly promoted Chief Executive Officer, Rhys Kirkham (top, left), as Blueprint Partners continues a period of strong growth, industry recognition and client momentum.
Stephen brings a rare combination of deep knowledge of Blueprint Partners’ culture, clients and proposition, alongside extensive new experience gained since leaving the agency to join VML, part of WPP. His return marks a strategic step for Blueprint Partners as it enters its next phase of growth, building on a strong foundation, while expanding its capabilities and ambition.
During his time at VML, Stephen trebled the size of his Customer Experience team, delivering better commerce journeys across complex technology stacks spanning retail, automotive and CPG clients. That experience complements his previous knowledge of Blueprint Partners’ approach, giving the agency leadership team a blend of continuity and fresh perspectives.
Stephen’s appointment coincides with the recent promotion of Rhys Kirkham from Chief Revenue Officer to Chief Executive Officer. Having previously worked together at Blueprint Partners for over 10 years, Stephen and Rhys now reunite to lead the business, bringing a shared understanding of the agency’s values and strengths, alongside a clear vision for its future.
The leadership changes come at a time of strong momentum for Blueprint Partners. Over the past 12 months, the agency has won six marketing awards, reflecting the quality and effectiveness of its work.
